JAMES HORNER: Krull (in Full Score)
JAMES HORNER: Krull (in Full Score)
James Horner was only 29 years old when he took to the podium at CTS Studios, Wembley to conduct the London Symphony Orchestra and Ambrosian Singers. The score calls for such massive forces, that the musicians were crammed into the room "asses-to-elbows," as a CTS engineer recalled! The result is a score that stands as one of Horner's greatest achievements. Lush Romanticism and dissonant aleatory create the mystical world of Krull. Scholars can now study a score that is not only one of James Horner's best, but also one of the best in film music history.
